Ieva and I came up with this after writing for two other songs we are working on this afternoon. I came up with the progression and “played” the guitar while she sang. It is very indie rock (read: badly played and recorded) Both parts were recorded at the same time. We both were inspired by recent events when we recorded this, so I hope you can feel the emotion, even though some of the notes are a little silly. Enjoy!!!

This piece is an attempt to compose in the style of Edgard Varèse and the practice of Musique concrète, or ‘real music’. This is my initial draft of the piece. It is called “Dualism” because I find the piece to be rather bipolar in nature. But I will let the sounds be their own judge. As a warning, this is a avante garde piece.  Enjoy!
